A: Williamsburg, Virgina is the #3 vacation spot in the US–about 5 to 5 1/2 hours from York, PA (above Baltimore,MD) but you can make it in 3 1/2 hours or less if you travel back routes! It’s full of Colonial History–been there a couple of times ! Plus you can now buy Busch Gardens/Water Country tickets for $69.00/adult for a 7 day unlimited, bounce ticket! Eat at one of the taverns in Colonial Williamsburg–worth the cost–but go in the evening and book early! Yorktown and Jamestown–more history stuff–home of Pocahontas! Ocean City, Maryland for the beach–not the prettiest of beaches (I’ve been to the Carribean–nothing compares) but the atmosphere is awesome and there’s tons of stuff to do and it’s about 3 hours from York also! check out Assateque(?–Spelling) to see the horses on the beach! O.C,’s boardwalk is right along the beach and has a 2 smaller amusement parks and tons of stores and popular bars and side street shops and restaurants! Maryland Blue crabs are the best! Phillips Seafood Restaurant out around 134th street area is a great seafood buffet for around $25.00/adults and $10.00 for kids! Rehobeth Beach, DE has cobblestone streets and small bourtiques but not a lot of activities–Henlopen Beach is nice in Rehobeth but you pay a fee to swim for the day! New Jersey has similar beach areas! Raystown Lake is nice for camping/lake swimming–located in PA! Poconos are nice resorts but a little pricey! Philly has alot of Culture but certain areas are dangerous and Philly can be expensive! take a tour of the most Haunted Prison in America–it housed Al Capone! Called Eastern State Pentitentary! Lancaster, PA to see the Amish if you’re into that! Gettysburg, Pa if you’re into the Civil War! Tons of Battlefield areas to tour–take a Ghost Walk tour–it’s spooky if you like that stuff–try eating at the Dobbin House_-authentic, original tavern! depending where you are in Pa–New York City is within a couple of hours drive! Washington, D.C. is about 90 minutes from York, Pa! Tons of free stuff to do–lots of walking! Virginia has a place called Crystal City that is a hotel/shopping area completely underground! Virgina Beach, Virgina(about 6 hours from York,PA) is a nice beach but the boardwalk is one block back from the beach–the boardwalk/shopping strip id fairly safe–tons of police patrols but don’t stay more than 3 blocks back from the beach–police will tell you it’s very dangerous! Inner harbor in Baltimore, MD is nice and along the water(not the beach) but in town can be dangerous! Fells Point for the bars/clubs! Annapolis, MD for cobblestone streets, intimate shops and tons of boats! Very Nauitcal! Hershey, Pa for the chocolate experience–nice amusement park! Chocolate tours! Hope all this helps! If all else fails go to Disney World in Orlando, Florida or my personal favorite Miami’s South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida!

Q: Top ten northern california beaches?
Looking for a one weekend vacation spot

A: a few of my favorite would have to include:

-Stinson Beach. Large, open, inviting beach in a charming little town. Please visit the other local attractions nearby- Muir Woods, Tomales Bay (Hog Island Oysters!), Point Reyes and Inverness. So sceninc and peaceful- you’d hardly believe that you were just a few minutes away from SF.

-the small beaches along the CA coast down in San Mateo. There are too many to mention along this strip that runs from Half Moon Bay down to Santa Cruz alongside highway 1. San Gregorio beach, Bonny Dune, and perhaps my very favorite- Bean Hollow. They’re smaller beaches, very secluded and natural. Please check out charming downtown half moon bay as well as the exciting santa cruz beach boardwalk if you have the chance.

Good luck, and enjoy your trip to CA.

Q: Would you guyz help my out by read my rough draft and pointing out my errors. (8th grade reading/english)
Parkcity is an exciting place to visit. It’s located in Parkcity Utah. There’s a snow resort, small coffee shops, and a town center. Lots of people from around the world go there to snowboard. It’s a small town with a huge mountainside snow resort. Most people go there to have fun skiing and snowboarding. Park city is a thrilling place to visit.

The first day my cousin and I decided to go snowboarding at Park city snow resort. Once to the top we decided to race to the bottom of the mountain, first to get in line at the lift won. As soon as the path joined three other paths I fell backwards and me cousin sideways. After forty minutes of snowboarding down the mountain, we decided to go rest at the lodge instead of racing to the lift. When we arrived we got a change of clothes and headed to the café.
Because of the several lodge’s scattered all over the mountain we had a place to sit and room to relax. Inside the café was a warm fireplace, small bakery and balcony with a small fire pit. As we warmed up we ate beef stew, donuts from the bakery and drank lots and lots of hot chocolate. Later that day we met my mom and went to dinner, there, with the rest of the family we ate big plates of mashed potatoes and gravy, steak, chicken noodle soup, baked potatoes, fudge brownies, and ice cream leaving us all bloated full of hearty food.
The next day visiting the shop’s at the snow resort we saw pro snowboarder Marc Montoya who had been featured as number three in the top ten in the snowboarder magazine. Having nothing with us but what was in the store we bought a magazine and had him sign it. Now that we had every thing we needed, we went back to our hotel and packed up. Once packed we got in our cars and drove to Salt Lake City. Arriving at the airport late we rushed in gave our luggage to the front desk and met the plane to fly home.
Park city is a great vacation spot. All ages can enjoy the activities available to them. If considering a vacation, I think Park city would be a great place. I think Park city is a exciting place to visit
just wrote how my teacher told us to do it thats why th begging and ending sound wierd.

A: As soon as the path joined three other paths I fell backwards and me cousin sideways. It should be my cousin where the path joined the other paths.Hope this is of help

What makes you a unique individual

During the time that I have spent filling this 70 sheet notebook I have found myself writing about ridiculous things just to find which one represents me as a person, shows more about me, my dad, my past, work, my hometown, my sisters, my friends, things that bother me, things that I love, haunting experiences, fears, food, and single moments in my life that may have affected me but I tend never to think about them. A plain puzzle of 1500 pieces I started working on, frustrated, showed me that everything about myself was laid out, needing to be put together.
I had the wrong piece in my hand, tried jamming it into spaces too small, turned it, twisted it, but the correct piece was directly below it. Out of all the tiny pieces, some were upside down, some lay on top of others, and some you could only see the cardboard back to them, unknown to what they would reveal. This was the exact mess that was laying in front of me as I wrote. In order to solve the puzzle, I had to do right, not just in an orderly way, but a way that worked for myself.
I flipped over all the pieces, and spread them out across my dining room table able to see them more clearly. Organized them by characteristics, color, shape, and where I think they might belong. I had to look at the big picture plastered on to the box more than I spent staring at the jumbled up mixture of tiny descriptions. I had to start to put it together in sections at first, then go back and scan to see what I had been missing. But by the time I had finished the puzzle, it showed that every piece had a place. Every piece had been there all along only waiting to be discovered, maybe hiding under another, or dropped onto the floor when I hadn’t noticed.
Dumping out the box I could see all the obvious things about me, the ones face up on the table, the edges that make up the border. I play tennis, I have three sisters, drawing, reading, and as much as it is frustrating me right now, writing. There is never a moment when I do not have chapstick on my lips, or a tube in my pocket. The underground rap that I listened to, and the converses I wear on my feet are things that anyone spending a day with me could easily find out. Writing down things helps me to organize all my thoughts inside my head, much like the puzzle I was working on. Each piece was one of my thoughts to mine, just laying there waiting to be fit into their correct spot.
All the flipped over pieces were waiting to be discovered. Were they parts to the chair? The flowers? When I wake up in the morning I immediately grab my ipod and look up the interpretation to the objects I visualize my dreams, to discover more about my subconscious thoughts, I check my horoscope to see how my day will turn out, I wonder about each individual nutrient I will consume today, and what I will have for dinner tonight. I am in constant wonder to how I will accomplish all the tasks I have to do in one day. I love school, I never wake up dreading it. I want to learn about exactly how people learn, Epistemology. I wonder how other people are waking up. I compile my list of places I plan to visit within the next ten years of my life, France, Spain, Japan, Indiana, Colorado. I hate wasting my time. Vacations I try to do the most productive things possible. When I have nothing to do, I research. I look up things that I always wanted to know about. I teach myself things. There are things that I like to learn on my own, rather than being instructed by a family member or friend. I get excited over the simplest things like going to the beach, receiving mail, grocery shopping, eating out, or going into the city. I have three sisters. I want a lot of kids, 5, maybe 8. My mom says I’m crazy. I am setting myself up for disorganization, chaos, no time for myself to ever relax. But this is exactly how the puzzle is, out of order, scattered, a mess, yet all the pieces fit together to make something beautiful that we will be able to glue together and frame for others to see. All my pieces together would benefit your school greatly. You may never know unless you are able to put the pieces together, and see the put together final picture.
I also think it needs to be shorter..so anything that would benefit it by cutting out. thanks

A: ok, i’ll be honest I didn’t read the whole thing but i did read the first 2 paragraphs and a couple sentences at the end. the part about the notebook at the beginning where you list things, it’s just irelevant. Just start off with a strong intro about the puzzle, no need to draw out the story too much. other than that, from what I read I liked it and the concept behind it!
btw, I wouldn’t let everyone’s comments on it let you change it too much, then you might end up losing your voice.
